Today the March 7th 2017, This is my first weekly reflection of many more to come and these are at the end of every week or so. It’s been over a month on the help desk and it has been a smooth run for me and the team so far just loving it more everyday. During the two weeks, we worked with Mr. Wong to get classroom tutorials out for teachers who do not use Google Classroom. Each of the kids was assigned an update to demonstrate to the teachers in the tutorial. I loved this idea because it would be easier for teachers, instead of watching a long video. We made short videos so a teacher would just read the description and know what the video is about. There are some teachers that use classroom so a long tutorial about how to use classroom would not help them so much but rather short videos about updates for each month would help them improve and make their work easier. I did the tutorial about the Google Classroom updates for April 2016 which included how to reuse a post in classroom, scheduling a post and saving a post as a draft for later posting. Besides the tutorials, we also had to work on designing our blogs and for me it was easy work because I used my old blog so I just had to update it and for the new kids, they had to create new blogs. For technical support at school, we helped a couple of students get their non-school devices on the network and solving any network related issues that they had. So that’s how I would summarize my week at the help desk which I would was a smooth and easy week for everyone and always looking forward to what’s coming.

This week I got done with my screencast which took me pretty a long time to finish. The help desk was invited at Gillette stadium for a presentation but I didn't get the chance to go because I had issues but from what I heard, the team did so well with everything. Apart from that, the help desk has been a little bit busy with the team helping the kids out with their tech problems.
Today The 2nd of october 2015 and it’s my 5th week at the help desk and it's has been a smooth run for me and the team. I would say i like it more here every time of the week so this week we had to do our screencasts and each of us was given an app to Review. I happened to get a chance to review Canva, an awesome app for Graphic design $ Photo editing.
So before i started doing anything, i used online resources to find out what screencast was. idid’t know anything about it and because it’s the help Desk, you always opened to new things about Tech you didn’t really know so Just like anyone, i googled it and found out it was a digital recording of a computer screen like video screen capture that’s according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screencast. so after doing that, i was referred to this online screen recorder by Mrs.Scheffer which was simple to use. But other than the screencast at the help desk, We also had to start on our Smart Planning sheet which is due sometime from now. Other than the class assignments, i had to help out a couple of kids and teachers with their tech problems. The problems i solved this week were about some kids who had their ipads freeze and so had to do the soft reset and that seemed pretty easy. i also got kids having problems with their class apps and couldn't do anything because most of the problems were from the apps itself maybe because of bugs. i offered great customer service this week not forgetting helping out Mr.Milton with the projectors which couldn’t work, so i like saved the day. So that’s how i would summarize my week at the help desk which i would was a smooth and easy week for everyone and always looking forward to what’s coming. This is the third week on the help desk and worked on so many things like had to help the kids with Google classroom and can't open with Google docs using pdf. I have also helped teachers and students with their problems too and trust me, helping people out with their problems is like the best feeling one could have. This is the first weekly reflection of many more to come. These are at the end of every week from Help Desk. This week was getting into the swing of things, how Help Desk is run and what things i will be doing. This week we set up our blogs and designed our blogs to look the way we wanted it to and this a wonderful experience for me and happy to be part of the team and hope to have a smooth run.
